When I run the numbers and remove things like greed and excessive military spending?

There is no reason why everyone on Earth shouldn’t have a comfortable life according to basic human needs.

Home, Vehicle, Entertainment, Family, Food, Free Time etc…

Basically the essentials which means the opposite of one person having 7 houses, 12 cars and 3 boats plus gold sitting in a vault somewhere collecting dust.

How come I can have a “God Complex” and still desire the simple life?

The idea of wealth without sharing or acting as if I am “owed” to be treated or bowed before like a king while the poor suffer all around me makes me sick.

The sad part is according to the books and personal encounters with many in the past, I am supposed to be the “Psychotic bad guy here”.

Meanwhile the way they hurt people makes me look like a saint as I may be harsh at times when I need to be but I leave people alone while promoting their peace over mine.

As a leader I cannot fathom the thought of being responsible for people and letting them down to the point of just ignoring them and filling my own pocket instead.

It’s all kinds of wrong.

Exodus 3:7-12 New International Version (NIV)

The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.

10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

12 And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you[a] will worship God on this mountain.”

“Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless?

You think wrong!

I have as much soul as you, – and full as much heart!

And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you!”

Psalm 77:7

In The Day of Trouble I Sought the living LORD

6At night I remembered my song; in my heart I mused, and my spirit pondered:

7“Will the living Lord spurn us forever and never show His favor again?

8Is His loving devotion gone forever? Has His promise failed for all time?…

Quran 7:77

So they hamstrung the she-camel and were insolent toward the command of their living Lord and said, “O Salih, bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the messengers.”
